The Year Head has overall responsibility for the year group helps to foster a positive, respectful and inclusive school experience, ensuring that students feel supported, valued and connected to their school community.

The Year Head provides guidance, encouragement and support, while monitoring students’ attendance, engagement, behaviour and overall progress. Through strong relationships and effective communication, the Year Head works collaboratively to promote student wellbeing, personal development and success.
As a central point of contact for the year group, the Year Head works closely with students, tutors, teachers, parents/guardians and the wider pastoral care teams.
